Glass half full. The economic downturn seems to have prevented the building of a new Westfield Centre in Bradford. Instead the wound has healed into what has been branded by its murals as Bradford Urban Garden, at the very least a more pleasant way to walk between the Interchange and Forster Square. Most environments raise serotonin when bathed in sunshine. Easy to see the world as an engine of serendipity on a morning like this.
For the month of June I’m experimenting with commuting between Halifax and Cross Hills by public transport. A Wednesday on a sunny morning in June is culturally removed from a damp Tuesday in November. Passport control is required.
